Ford has finally brought the Focus with the ?RS?
badge to our American shores, and we couldn't be happier.
We wanted to upgrade and improve many aspects of this car, and among those priorities had to be an intake.
Our engineers have dedicated many hours to development, conducting numerous tests and data collection.
This is a complete intake, replacing every core component in the OEM system, including the intake pipe and air box.
Our kit features a 3?
aluminum pipe that routes directly to the turbo, along with all necessary bracketry for a perfect fit.
The air box has a design similar to the stock air box, facilitating an improved pressure drop with an open top, exposing the filter to more air while sealing the box against the hood, keeping it fully enclosed.
This air box utilizes the factory air inlet ducts, drawing air directly from the front of the car, and the ports are surrounded by weather stripping to prevent movement.
We have tested this intake through hundreds of miles of road testing and numerous dyno runs to ensure reliable and repeatable max gains of 12 ph and 15 feet-lbs.
