The Class III XMount Starter Kit includes a ball mount, a 2” hitch ball, and a 5/8” standard hitch pin.
The XMount fits 2” receivers, has a 1” shank, a maximum trailer weight of 5,000lb, and a maximum tongue weight of 500lb.
TowSmart’s patented XMount design allows less surface contact and channels away moisture to minimize rust build-up and seizing within the aperture of the receiver hitch.
The XMount design also includes the lockrail system that allows you to torque the hitch ball with a single wrench.
The lockrail functions as a built-in wrench preventing hitch ball rotation during installation or removal from the XMount ball mount.
The XMount can be used in either the drop (3-1/4”) or rise (2”) position.
Drop is required if the hitch height is greater than the trailer height.
Rise is required if the hitch height is less than the trailer height.
The XMount Class III Starter Kit meets J684 testing standards.
