The oversized 16 inch K&N air filter top and base plates can be paired with a variety of K&N air filters for boosting performance in carbureted race cars.Made from lightweight aluminum, the plates feature a spun aluminum finish with K&N logos embossed on the outer edge of the top plate.The base plate fits carburetors with a 5-1/8 inch air horn flange and drops the filter 1-1/2 inches below the carb flange.The drop base design helps maximize air filter height while still clearing the hood in many custom racing applications.These K&N top and base plates will work with various heights of 16 inch diameter high-flow air filters such as the 3 inch tall air filter E-3022R, 3-1/4 inch tall air filter E-3023R, 3-1/2 inch tall air filter E-3024R, 3-3/4 inch tall air filter E-3025R, 4 inch tall air filter E-3026R and several other variations meant for off-road racing use.
