RockJock's Johnny Joint Kit for the Front 2WD Beam Axle Housing replaces the upper control arm bushings with Johnny Joint rod ends to achieve maximum articulation from your suspension.
This kit includes 2 of our flame-cut steel uprights that are 1 in.
thick for the tube side, with the Johnny Joint already installed.
You will cut off the top of the stock upper control arm brackets on the beam axle and install the new RockJock pieces into the existing bracket bases.
The RockJock pieces are then welded to the existing bracket bases.
This allows for no welding on the tube, preventing warpage of the tube.
Cutting and welding equipment is required for installation.
NOTE: This kit includes larger than stock, 1/2 in.
greasable hardware for use in performance applications.
Control arm holes must be drilled to accept the 1/2 in.
bolts.
This kit is for factory 2WD beam use only.
