Barrel-band clamps are more effective at preventing exhaust leaks than simple saddle clamps.

After initial tightening, you’ll never have to reposition one of these clamps to fix a whistle.

Because the wide band spreads its clamping force over a much larger area, it does not distort the outer pipe.

This makes it a better choice for a race vehicle whose exhaust system will be dismantled and reinstalled regularly.

Using anti-seize compound on the slip-fit joints and the threads of the clamp is recommended.

Stainless steel cannot corrode better sealing and can be easily removed and replaced.
