The DualSport XP Coil Spring Suspension System includes a set of frequency-tuned, triple-rate coil springs that provide 2.5-3” of additional front and rear ride height.The factory-equipped JL Wrangler has a relatively stiff shock package and a very soft coil spring, which is not ideal for expedition travel with heavier cargo loads.For this reason, progressive rate coil springs (available in standard load or high capacity) were chosen for additional load handling capability, paired with a set of 66mm (2.6″) AEV-tuned Bilstein 8100 series reservoir shocks for optimal performance off-road, especially over rough terrain at higher speeds.

  • Note for 2026 Wrangler Owners: Certain 2025 and 2026 Wrangler (JL) and Gladiator (JT) vehicles built on or after September 30, 2025 were produced with a faulty Driver Assistance System Module (DASM) software calibration, affecting the AEV ProCal and all other dealer and aftermarket programming tools.
  • A ProCal SNAP (currently not compatible with 2025 model year Wranglers equipped with the 2.0L 4-cylinder engine) is included for quick speedometer recalibration, as well as our JL Jack Base for added safety when changing a 35” and taller tire with the factory scissor jack.
  • The AEV/Bilstein coil spring and shock combination used in this suspension increases both up travel and down travel while providing better articulation and improved off-road speed potential.
  • 3” High Capacity Coil Springs are designed for overland enthusiasts with a fully outfitted vehicle consistently loaded with heavier gear (+400-600 lbs. over the standard load spring).
  • With the AEV DualSport XP Suspension System installed, the JL Wrangler’s front and rear suspension geometry is optimized throughout the entire range of motion.
  • As with all of AEV’s expedition-ready suspension systems, the DualSport Suspension for the Jeep Wrangler JL is FMVSS No. 126 Compliant.
