Engineered to meet the challenges of power levels moving up to and beyond 500-Horsepower, RAM Clutches Powergrip Clutch Sets utilize a combination of Organic and Metallic Disc Friction Surfaces that effectively increase the clutch capacity to the 550-Horsepower level.
Equipped with RAM Clutches Polycoil Damper Springs encapsulated in polyurethane, the 8-Spring Hub can handle three times the shock load of just the coil spring, and is standard in all RAM Clutches Competition Discs.
The Competition Pressure Plate RAM Clutches in this Set provides 30-Percent more clamp pressure than stock units and meets SFI specifications.
At this high level of performance, RAM Clutches Powergrip Clutch Sets provide surprisingly good driving characteristics with smooth, comfortable driver control.
