It requires three #8 fasteners, which are not included.
Constructed from 304 stainless steel, it is sold in pairs.
Gas shocks are useful for keeping a lid, hatch, or door in the open position.
Over time, the gas in the cylinder will naturally dissipate, so the shock will need replacement.
To replace a worn-out shock, locate the extended length (from ball to ball) and the required pounds of pressure, and you can easily find a replacement from Whitecap.
