This CV drive shaft, double cardan style, is necessary for Jeep JK models equipped with 3.5" - 6" short arm suspension lifts or 2.5" - 6" long arm suspension lifts.
It features a replacement flange for the differential pinions instead of using an adapter flange.
Machined from solid billet steel, these flanges are designed to accept standard off the shelf mating flanges.
If these flanges break, you have a chance of getting a replacement part from almost any drive line shop.
This nets a longer drive shaft with the center of the universal joint positioned closer to the pinion bearing.

Grease fittings are positioned away from the transmission oil pan, allowing grease to reach the joints that need it without spilling all over the bottom of your Jeep.
