A line of premium quality weld-in bungs has been introduced by ARP.
Solid aluminum billet (6061) or 1018 mild steel is used for CNC machining the parts.
Applications include oil or fuel tanks, radiators, valve covers, manifolds, and rear axle housings, among others.
Available fittings include female pipe threads, male AN, and female O-ring types.
Sizes for the fittings are 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 3/4, and 1 inch NPT, as well as -6 thru -20 AN and -6 thru -20 O-ring sizes.
Female O-ring material for the weld bung is aluminum, with size AN16.
