The new VHX Systems fit directly into the stock instrument bezel of a 1969-70 Chevy Impala without modification, adding a wealth of features to this iconic vehicle.
The stock bezel is NOT included, and the machined aluminum gauge housing attaches directly to the back of the factory gauge bezel.
Converted to LED indicators, the series of factory indicator lights span across the bottom width of the stock gauge cluster.
The stock gear shift indicator can be retained or blacked-out with an included plate to use the digital gear readout (with the GSS-3000 sensor, sold separately).
Fully lit needles, backlit faces, and highly visible LCD message centers are a few features that set the VHX Series apart from yesterday’s traditional approach to instrumentation.
A few features that are not normally seen include micro-controlled precision stepper motors, solid state sensors for unparalleled accuracy, and user-customizable display feedback, all supported by an unrivaled limited lifetime warranty that has become the standard for Dakota Digital instrumentation systems.
Completely engineered and manufactured at their facility in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, the VHX Series has completely revolutionized the instrumentation industry!
