The 2015-2016 Corvettes can overheat the engine oil when driven at a moderate to hard pace, causing the ECM to reduce power.A simple but effective solution has been developed by DEI.The engine oil cooler and oil filter are located by Chevrolet close to the driver side catalytic converter.This proximity causes thermal heat transfer, raising the oil temperature above the safe operating limit.Installing the DEI converter heat shield can block this heat transfer and prevent the oil temperature from rising.
