The TH8 Hydraulic Hose from Gates is recommended for use with petroleum, water base, and synthetic hydraulic fluids.Meeting or exceeding the performance requirements of SAE 100R8, the TH8 hose features a significantly tighter bend radius.The black urethane cover resists hydraulic fluids, high temperatures, aging, and weathering, and is perforated for use in general hydraulic and pneumatic service.Reinforced with one braid of 300 Series stainless steel wire, the tube is type B-Conductive black/white smooth bore Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE).The recommended coupling for this hose is the C14 Couplings.The temperature ranges are as follows: -65°F to +200°F (-54°C to +93°C) for continuous service with petroleum and synthetic oils, and a maximum of +158°F (+70°C) for water, water/oil emulsions, and water glycol.
