The C5D High-Temp Multi-Fluid Hose from Gates is recommended for hydraulic oils based on petroleum, glycol antifreeze compounds, engine lubricating oils, and air.It meets the requirements of SAE 30R2, SAE 30R6, and SAE 30R7 for fuel and B20 biodiesel fuel transfer applications up to +125°F.This hose is not recommended for applications involving vibration or pressure surges.One braid of high-tensile carbon steel wire reinforces it over one braid of polyester.The tube is black, synthetic rubber (CPE - Type J), and is resistant to oil and heat.The recommended coupling for this hose is the C5 Field Attachable Couplings.The temperature ranges are as follows: -40°F to +300°F (-40°C to +149°C).Air can be used up to +250°F (+121°C) only, with maximum phosphate esters at +212°F (+100°C).
