The Gates C5D High-Temp Multi-Fluid Hose is recommended for hydraulic oils based on petroleum, glycol antifreeze compounds, lubricating oils for engines, and air.It meets SAE 30R2, SAE 30R6, and SAE 30R7 requirements for fuel and applications involving B20 biodiesel fuel transfer up to +125°F.This hose is NOT recommended for applications involving vibration or pressure surges.One braid of high-tensile carbon steel wire reinforces it over one braid of polyester.The tube is black, resistant to oil and heat, and made of synthetic rubber (CPE - Type J).The recommended coupling for this hose is the C5 Field Attachable Couplings.The temperature ranges are as follows: -40°F to +300°F (-40°C to +149°C).Air can be used up to +250°F (+121°C) only, with maximum phosphate esters up to +212°F (+100°C).
