The Gates GMV Global Hydraulic MegaVac Return Line and Suction Hose is recommended for hydraulic fluids based on petroleum and water in suction lines or low pressure return lines.This hose meets or exceeds SAE 100R4 requirements and uses half the bend radius of SAE 100R4.Additionally, this hose meets marine ABS standards with the use of HeatGuard high temp sleeve.The cover is synthetic rubber (Neoprene - Type A), black, oil and abrasion resistant, while the reinforcement consists of a double spiral textile (braid for -12, -16 and -20) reinforced with a helical spiral-wire to prevent collapse.The recommended couplings for this hose are MegaCrimp Couplings (-12 through -20), use clamp over beaded nipple, GlobalSpiral Plus Couplings (-24 and -32), and GL Couplings (-12 through -40).
