The Gates TH7 Hydraulic Hose is recommended for use with petroleum, water base, and synthetic hydraulic fluids.The TH8 hose exceeds or meets performance requirements of SAE 100R8 with a significantly tighter bend radius.The cover is black polyurethane that resists high temperatures, hydraulic fluids, aging, and weathering, and is perforated for use in general hydraulic and pneumatic service.The reinforcement consists of synthetic fiber.The tube is 100% seamless nylon - Type Z that handles a broad range of hydraulic fluids, including phosphate esters and water glycol.The coupling recommendation for this hose includes MegaCrimp couplings and Swage PCTS couplings (-2 and -3).The temperature ranges are as follows: -65°F to +200°F (-54°C to +93°C) for continuous service with petroleum and synthetic oils.A maximum of +158°F (+70°C) is applicable for water, water/oil emulsions, and water glycol.
