The Gates Plus Lock-On Hydraulic Hose is recommended for petroleum-base hydraulic oils, glycol antifreeze compounds, engine lubricating oils, and air.It meets SAE 30R2, SAE 30R6, and SAE 30R7 requirements for fuel and B20 biodiesel fuel transfer applications to +125°F.The hose is not recommended for applications involving pressure surge or vibration.One fiber braid provides reinforcement.The tube is black, oil resistant, synthetic rubber that is highly resistant to heat and oil (Nitrile - Type C).The coupling recommendation for this hose includes Field Attachable LOC Couplings, using a clamp over the beaded nipple, and GLP Couplings (except -3).The temperature ranges are as follows: -40°F to +250°F (-40°C to +121°C).For air, the range is -40°F to +160°F (-40°C to +71°C).
