We started with the size of the pipes, adding 13mm overall to both sides of the piping system, bumping the diameters from 42mm to 55mm, equating to a 30% increase in size.
We also reduced the angles of the bends in the piping, giving the charged air a more direct flow through the intercooling system.
The size and direction of the piping weren't the only changes.
The degradation-prone plastic that makes up the cold-side piping has been replaced with a section of mandrel-bent aluminum pipe, giving your intercooler pipe kit an improvement in durability and style.
We also replaced the rubber in the stock kit with couplers constructed with 5 layers of durable silicone embedded with heat resistant fibers, keeping engine heat out of your intercooled charged air.
