The cap on the top directs the light output backwards and away from the bulb, instead of straight out.
This results in a more uniform light output.
Installation takes only minutes - simply remove your factory bulb and the HP48 fits snugly in the socket.
At 250 lumens, the HP48 provides slightly more light output compared to your factory bulb.
