Boaters need to mark their mooring positions in the off-season, especially during the cold winter months.
Instead of using a standard mooring buoy that risks taking on damage from ice entrapment and the brutally cold water temperatures, the Sully Stick Winter Stick will mark your positions.
Closed cell foam fills the sully stick to positively displace water, maintaining optimal buoyancy.
The base eyelet is reinforced with a galvanized metal bushing, allowing you to attach a rope and connect to the anchor chain, securing the stick in place.
The blue reflective stripe offers full visibility so it can be easily seen when you’re ready to drop your mooring buoy in the water.
The spar buoy is available in two sizes: 6” D x 31” L with a 1/2“ molded hole that sits 18” above the water line and 6” D x 80” L with a 1.725” reinforced galvanized grommet for easy retrieval, sitting 48” above the water line.
The smaller stick’s internal ballast requires 6-1/2” of additional chain weight to stand vertical, while the larger stick’s internal ballast of 10 lbs.
requires 5 lbs.
of additional chain weight to stand vertical.
