Fits vehicles with LS swaps that require more clearance than the 302-1 and 302-2.
The design is the same as the 302-3 but lacks drain-back and plugs.
This oil pan is similar to the popular Holley 302-3 LS swap pan and is intended for naturally aspirated applications, as turbo oil drain-back holes and plugs have been removed for cost savings.
The 302-5 design matches the 302-3 pan and can accommodate a 4.00-inch stroke crankshaft.
It fits typical GM LS swapped muscle cars and trucks, as well as the Ford Fox body factory K-member with the Fox body rack and pinion.
Turbo oil drain-back holes and plugs are omitted for cost savings on this oil pan; if drain backs are needed, use part numbers 302-3 or 302-3BK.
Maximum crankshaft stroke is 4.00 inches.
The sump oil capacity is 5.6 quarts.
The total oil capacity with a stock oil filter is 6.1 quarts.
Compatible oil filters include AC Delco PF48 or PF48E, Mobile M1-113, Wix 57060, K&N HP-1017, or equivalent.
Requires the use of Holley 302-15 dipstick and tube kit or LS3 dipstick (GM P/N 12669528) and tube (GM P/N 12625031).
Engine location may need adjustment for crossmember or steering linkage clearance depending on the vehicle, steering configuration, and chassis type.
Attention: The 302-5 is designed to use a GM F-Body windage tray, GM P/N 12558253.
A modification to the windage tray is necessary to provide clearance for the pick-up tube.
A full-length windage tray may be used if the front quarter of the tray is removed.
Refer to the instruction sheets for windage tray modifications and overall length required.
