The oil in the sump can splash back onto the crank due to air turbulence generated by the rapidly spinning crank.With the addition of a Milodon 'Diamond Stripper' windage tray between the crank and the sump, the horsepower wasted by this inefficient oil handling can be reclaimed.The tray blocks much of the unwanted turbulence and splash-back while allowing the oil to drain quickly into the sump through hundreds and hundreds of small louvers.It is manufactured from gold plated steel for durability and is backed with the manufacturer's limited 90 day warranty.Note: Installation requires stock windage tray bolts or Milodon adjustable tray studs (available separately).Slight modification may be needed for stock tray bolts to avoid interference with the stock pan baffle.
