The Pintop system features Carli specific, blueprinted, King 2.5” shocks at all four corners.
To ensure customers receive the best product, a custom piston was designed to determine proper base flow rates so the shock performs well in the heavy-duty truck platform; the shocks were then tuned around the custom pistons based on the only thing that matters to us, seat-of-the-pants feel.
All our King shocks are rounded off with shafts machined and polished from a solid piece of 17-4 Stainless.
Unlike King’s standard shafts, there is no coating to wear off, weather cannot harm them, and if a small chip occurs, edges can be rounded with emery cloth to prevent damage to the seal housing as they are not brittle like the stock, hardened shafts.
The shocks are finished with King oil rated to -55° F.
Note that all King shocks are constructed with a plated steel body.
If exposed to inclement weather for extended periods, wrapping your shocks in 3M is recommended to create a moisture barrier that is replaceable.
