The twin tube shocks from QA1 are rebuildable and offer the performance, consistency, and tunability that racers demand.
Known previously as 60 and 62 series shocks, the 6Q series features an aluminum large-body design.
It is very easy to use in coil-over configurations with QA1 kits (sold separately) due to the threaded body.
Depending on rules and applications, racers can choose from 6”, 7”, 8”, and 9” bearing mount shocks.
Rebound adjustability is available to dial in valving at the track.
Small details contribute to great overall performance.
The scalloped base loop increases clearances in tight areas like upper control arms and shock mounts.
High-quality raw aluminum is used for the pistons to maximize consistency.
The shock can be valved with bleed shims or by drilling out bleeds to maximize tunability.
This twin tube shock has a 2” threaded body diameter with eyelet bearing-mounts.
It features a 5” stroke and measures 16-1/4” eye to eye.
The gland has relief cuts and a hyper screw port, making it easy to fill and bleed during assembly.
An upgraded seal kit minimizes leaks, especially in high-rebound applications.
The compression tube uses a slip fit design to simplify the rebuild process.
Laser-engraved, black-anodized closure nuts make serial numbers and valving easy to read at the track or in the shop.
Racers can rebuild and re-valve their own shocks using available kits (sold separately).
