The Carli Pintop is a system that is a Jack-of-all-trades, delivering a confident yet sedate on-road ride with all harsh edges rounded and smoothed while making light- to medium-duty off-road escapades completely controlled and uneventful.The system features King 2.5 shocks, blueprinted and specific to Carli, on all four corners.With a shock body diameter of 2.5 inches, these Pintop shocks deliver 55% more piston surface area than a 2.0-inch shock.A custom piston has been designed by Carli engineers to produce proper base flow rates and optimize performance in robust ¾-ton and one-ton platforms.The Carli-spec shocks also feature shafts that are machined and polished from a solid piece of 17-4 stainless.The system delivers a dramatic increase in travel, and the adjustable track bar included adds stability, countering the sloppiness that can lead to Death Wobble.The truck will sit higher in the front for a level look and have more wheel travel thanks to the lighter rate Carli coil springs.
