The Borne Off-Road Transfer Case Skid Plate is designed to be tough as nails, constructed from 5/32-inch plate steel and ready to take whatever abuse you can throw at it.
Additional mounting points have been added for superior strength, and all those mounting points are recessed to provide a smooth bottom surface.
This eliminates the potential for shearing off or getting hardware caught on obstacles.
Existing mounting points are utilized, so there’s no need to drill or tap for installation.
All corners and edges are bent at 80-degrees and reinforced for even greater strength.
To ensure a durable and long-lasting finish, they are first electroplated via electro-galvanization and then powdercoated black.
Designed to be direct-fit and including all hardware, installation should take less than an hour with basic hand tools.
