The Water Level Sensor Wrench from PPE performs two important jobs: The closed wrench end is used to reinstall and remove the Water In Fuel (WIF) filter sensor, while the small end of the wrench was designed to fit the billet PPE Air Bleeder Screw.
The fragile plastic OEM screw that is prone to breaking is replaced by the PPE Air Bleeder Screw.
Over time, the stock plastic WIF sensors become brittle due to under-hood heat exposure and require special handling.
Typically, your channel locks are quite effective at damaging these plastic parts.
Although it is difficult to see, they have a slight taper.
The taper is matched perfectly by PPE’s Water Level Sensor Wrench, allowing for safe removal of the sensor when it is time to replace the filter during regular maintenance.
It is a two-in-one tool, and since it is cut from stainless steel with a polished finish, it will also look great in your toolbox.
