Among off-grid users, Wagon Tech's Pro Line series of power inverters has received a considerable makeover.
Starting from the ground up, the new inverter, rated at 10,000 watts, received a new SMT circuit board, a glossy exterior coating on the smaller casing, and a massive weight reduction.
The new SMT (Surface Mount Technology) circuit boards offer greater reliability, better efficiency, and fewer stray RF emissions compared to the older PCB (Printed Circuit Boards) and through-hole boards.
The case volume shrunk almost 50% of the original, and the overall weight was reduced by 48%.
This results in an efficient, reliable, and lightweight 10,000 watt inverter in a more compact size.
On the front of the Pro Line 10,000 Watt Inverter, you will find the manually operated power switch (On/Off) as well as the jack for the remote power switch (included).
Four conveniently stacked 120V AC outlets capable of providing 1500 watts each are well spaced on the right side of the inverter.
Just left of the AC outlets, you will find the LED Over-Load and Over-Temperature warning lights and the Voltage and Amperage level indicators.
With the stout AC terminal block just below the Voltage/Amperage Level indicators, you can be certain that your investment is well protected.
On the backside of the Pro Line 10,000 Watt Inverter is the massive cooling fan, the Heavy Duty Solid Mount Positive (Red) Terminal, the Heavy Duty Solid Mount Negative (Black) Terminal, and the Ground-Neutral Bond stud with wing-nut.
Both of the Terminals are now Heavy Duty Solid Mounts and come directly out of the case to make connections easier and to avoid the inevitable 90ᵒ bend that the cables make on traditional inverters, causing undue stress and making connections harder.
The massive cooling fan is utilized to help keep the inverter cool and operating efficiently.
The new Wagon Tech Pro Line Inverters prove that the best can get better.
