This saves wear and tear on the parts and improves stability, especially in sudden motion or braking situations.
The bolt-on hook with a 6 hole mount works in tandem with the vehicle's air system to hold the drawbar eye closely to reduce wear, absorb shock, and prevent uncoupling during operation.
Ideal for heavy-duty applications such as semi trailers, both over-the-road and off-road.
The drawbar eye dimension for this hook is 2-3/8" to 3" I.D.
w/ 1-1/4" to 1-5/8" diameter cross section.
For off-road use, the load should be reduced by 25%, and a swivel type trailer drawbar should be used.
The air chamber and plunger (PH50ACMK) is not included but can be used without as a standard pintle hook.
