Turbosmart upgraded wastegate actuators have been developed to maximize boost response for your factory frame turbocharger.
The IWG75 series of upgraded actuators from Turbosmart benefit from an increased working ratio over factory equipment, resulting in boost response improvement throughout the RPM range.
This working ratio improvement is achieved through an increase in the effective surface area of the diaphragm and revisions to the actual springs fitted, resulting in greater leverage of the forces the actuator works against (boost and backpressure) while remaining super-responsive.
Upgrading with the same base pressure as factory, you can expect a broader boost and torque curve, with peak boost achieved earlier in the RPM and held longer into higher RPM.
These improvements can be amplified with higher base pressures; however, tuning and recalibration are likely required.
