The Chevron-5 multi-layer SFI-5 racecar driver's fire suit jacket from RaceQuip 9161 series is made up of a durable outer layer of Nomex® and a soft, lightweight Nomex® liner with box quilting in a Chevron pattern.
The modern Euro design is accentuated with black trim Euro epaulets, black side panels, and black Nomex cuffs.
For flexibility in the torso, the side panels feature knit stretch fabric, and the 180° floating arm gussets increase arm flexibility.
The Chevron-5 jackets include a heavy-duty Nomex® backed brass, two-way zipper installed with a double overlap for a more secure front opening.
Exceeds SFI 3.2A/5 specs.
Available in Black, Red, or Blue with Black accents.
Sizes range from Small to 3X-Large (refer to sizing chart).
Note that these materials are sometimes referred to as 'fireproof', but all auto racing safety gear is 'fire retardant'.
