For 1972-1993 Dodge W100/W150 4WD trucks with Gen III Hemi swap.
Mounting brackets for Gen III Hemi engine swap in 1972-1993 Dodge W100/W150 trucks with 4-wheel drive.
These brackets feature two engine mounting positions (stock factory bell-housing location or 1-inch forward).
The factory location maintains the transmission/transfer case in the stock position to simplify the swap by re-using the transmission, transfer case, transmission crossmember, and driveshafts.
The optional 1-inch forward engine location is available if extra firewall clearance is needed.
Mount kit includes mounting brackets, frame plates, engine isolators, and mounting hardware.
Constructed from welded steel with a black powder coated finish for durability and corrosion protection.
Fits trucks originally equipped with a V8 or slant-6 engine (not compatible with V6 front crossmember).
NP435 and NP445 manual transmissions may need the input shaft pilot shortened by approximately 5/8" to prevent bottoming out in the shallow counterbore of the GEN3 Hemi crankshaft flange.
Always verify the input shaft to crankshaft bottoming clearance before cutting the shaft.
Engines with short runner intake valves (SRV) will need minor firewall clearance.
6.2L supercharged engines will require minor firewall clearance for the supercharger water manifold - EARLS low profile intercooler water manifold recommended PN: HEMI0005ERL.
Car engines with rear exit heater pipes will require modification.
OEM V8 radiator will need upper radiator hose fabrication.
The 1-inch forward engine position is not compatible with the stock transmission mount and driveshafts.
Other recommended accessory parts include pilot bearing for manual transmission: Mopar PN 53009180AB, lower radiator hose: Gates PN 22698 (cut to length), and heater hoses: Gates PN 28471 (2 pieces) for truck engine with front passenger side heater.
