The ProSpindle from Wilwood is designed specifically for use in fabricated A-arm suspensions on kit cars, street rods, drag cars, and other custom or race applications configured around Pinto/Compatible with Mustang ll suspension geometry.
A one-piece forged steel body that has been redesigned uses common Pinto and Compatible with Mustang ll tie rod ends, ball joints, wheel bearings, and seals.
It is lightweight and nearly three times stronger than OE or aftermarket two-piece cast iron and steel replacement spindles.
Strong bolt-on steering arms can be reversed to accommodate rear steer configurations.
The same spindle can also be used on either side of a vehicle.
Bolt-on caliper brackets attach to reinforced mounting bosses on the spindle body for secure, deflection-free mounting of four or six piston calipers.
Complete Wilwood ProSpindle applicable brake kits and components including forged billet hubs, bearings, seals, locknuts, calipers, brake pads, caliper brackets, and hats or rotor plates to attach optional rotor styles from 11" to 14" are available to configure custom brake packages and complete the installation.
