One common cause of low oil pressure in high mileage or aged LS engines is the O-ring at the oil pump inlet of the oil pickup tube.
With age and heat, these O-rings harden, allowing the oil pump to pull air past the seal.
This kit from Melling includes both styles and thicknesses of O-rings used on LS engines, along with instructions to identify which seal is needed, removing the need to guess which O-ring to order.
Fits LS-based engines from 1997 to 2013, up to 2018 on L96 engines.
