This sandwich adapter was designed to give consumers with high performance engines a non-thermostatic option with 2 3/4 inch filter landings, and to fit import vehicles with 2 1/2 inch diameter filter landings.Made using die-cast aluminum of high quality with 1/2 inch NPT ports, this adapter provides external oil lines to add an engine oil cooler.It installs between the oil filter and the stock engine oil filter landing.The stock filter is retained.The kit includes brass hose barb fittings and sleeve nuts.
