The electric solenoid shifting kit by Hurst is designed to automatically complete the gear change from 1st to 2nd, increasing reliability in shifting and consistency in E.T.Engineered for Hurst Quarter Stick and pistol-grip shifters with a forward pattern.When used with an RPM activated switch or a manually activated push button (normally open) switch, shifting is controlled.The solenoid features a plunger that is spring activated and is designed to push the shifter stick into gear quickly and firmly, avoiding hitting or slamming it, which can cause damage to the stick itself.The kit includes a H.D.12 Volt solenoid rated at a maximum 3 amp draw to hold the plunger in position, along with an aluminum mounting bracket, hardware, fuse, and electrical connectors.
