Designed for common Ford and GM electronic 4 speed transmissions, the Sniper Transmission Controller (STC) covers a complete range of applications for all Sniper EFI systems, specific to Sniper 2 EFI (M8 CAN connection), or as a full standalone unit.
The Sniper specific applications connect via CAN bus to your Sniper EFI system and are programmed through the existing 3.5-inch touchscreen (not included).
Programming is not available with PC computer software; however, the transmission functions can be logged and reviewed with Sniper PC software.

Ford and GM 4 speed electronic overdrive transmissions feature an overdrive top gear, and all include a lockup torque converter that eliminates slippage when the lockup is applied.
Under light throttle conditions, the lockup should only be applied with a stock torque converter, or excessive wear will occur.
Vehicle speed and throttle position (or optionally the MAP sensor) determine upshifts, downshifts, and torque converter lockup, adjustable with the 3.5-inch touchscreen (not included).
If using MAP for line pressure, a MAP sensor is needed, typically only done with forced induction applications.
This product is incompatible with 4WD installations.
