10.5 RAM Clutches Twin-Plate Force 80-2250N Clutch Kit
For applications in the 400-900 ft/lb range, the dual disc Force 10.5 is the natural choice.
By using a three strap system to locate the floater plate, the design of the original RAM Street Dual is more street friendly.
This eliminates the common floater plate ‘rattle’ found on stand driven dual disc clutches.
A pressure plate with high clamp load assures plenty of holding power without excessive pedal pressure.
Smooth engagement on takeoff is ensured by steel backed 300 series facing, which also means long service life.
The Force 10.5N features the proven RAM 900 series metallic facings for higher torque capacities up to 1300 ft/lb.
Handling bigger torque loads, the Force 10.5 dual disc systems are a bit heavier than their smaller counterparts.
This higher inertia translates into better low speed driveability in heavier vehicles or in applications with large camshaft profiles.
An aluminum flywheel for direct fit is included with all RAM dual disc systems.
If you are bolting on a larger blower or turbo system, the Force 10.5 may be the best choice for you.
