The Performance Cold Air Intake System AEM 21-836WR produces torque and horsepower gains by replacing the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing of your vehicle.
Designed, tuned, and dyno-tested, this air intake system fits specific Subaru WRX STI models.
The system allows air to enter through an oversized AEM Dry flow synthetic washable air filter for outstanding filtration, air flow, and performance.
Located in the original air box space, the air filter is protected by a heat shield designed to reduce intake air temperature and increase horsepower.
Constructed from mandrel-bent aluminum, the intake tubing features a durable textured red powder coated finish.
Developed to accommodate the engine's factory emissions control devices, including the mass air flow sensor, the tapered cylinder shaped AEM Dry flow air filter is made from an oil-free, synthetic filter media that can be used for up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is needed, depending on driving conditions.
Installation of the air intake system is easy with commonly available tools.
