The Extreme Duty Soft Shackles from Factor 55 are engineered, tested, and made in the USA under uncompromised quality standards.
Like all rigging products from Factor 55, these shackles have been lab and field-tested to assure consistent values for minimum breaking strength.
Each Soft Shackle in the Extreme Duty line is constructed of HMPE Plasma rope that includes additional UV and abrasion protection with a woven polyester jacket that is carefully whipped and coated with Fiber Lock.
Note how the protective jacket is attached close to the knot, providing as much protection against abrasion as possible.
For their size and weight, these Extreme Duty Soft Shackles provide an additional 25-30% verified breaking strengths when compared to standard soft shackles on the market today.
Minimum breaking strengths and WLL are clearly marked.
