Made of Japanese 420J2 stainless steel, the blade has just the right degree of flex to make filleting simple.
This 'softer' steel allows the blade to bend without breaking, moving easily through the fish's body to create the ideal fillet.
Additionally, the steel is highly corrosion resistant, which is important when working around water.
The handle is contoured and durable for comfort while filleting.
Neon highlights in the handle make it easy to spot in a marine environment, while still maintaining a basic black appearance.
The co-polymer handle material offers an excellent grip, and its soft-yet-firm texture reduces fatigue when filleting even a large catch.
The handle's design, featuring a central contour and hand protectors at both ends, fits the hand and locks in for an extra-comfortable grip.
