These switches (vss) automatically sense connected battery bank voltages and allow optimal, efficient charging of the second bank.
The vss can combine or isolate independent battery banks based on the presence of a charging source (such as an engine alternator or battery charger), while also offering a high current, emergency parallel connection that is remotely activated.

The ignition protected units provide on/off switching operation and may be mounted either recessed or on the surface.
The remote emergency parallel function can be activated through a momentary button on the dash, which will parallel the batteries for 10 minutes.
After this 10 minutes, if the voltage is high enough, the voltage sensitive switch will remain engaged.
If not, it will disengage.
