RockJock's Johnny Joint Kit for Front Axle Housing replaces the upper control arm bushings and rod ends of the front differential housing to achieve maximum articulation from your suspension.
This kit includes an installation tool and a Johnny Joint insert for the gear case ear, along with a 1 in.
thick flame-cut steel upright for the tube side, with the Johnny Joint already installed.
To install, cut off the top of the stock bracket on the tube and install the new RockJock piece into the existing bracket base.
Then, weld the RockJock piece to the existing bracket base.
This method allows for no welding on the tube, preventing warpage.
Cutting and welding equipment is required for installation.
NOTES: This kit includes larger than stock, 1/2 in.
greasable hardware for performance applications.
Control arm holes must be drilled to accept the 1/2 in.
bolts.
This kit is designed for use on any factory Dana 30 or 44 differential only.
