A hitch lock is made to insert into the fastener hole in the side of a receiver tube to hold a ball mount or hitch-mounted accessory in place.

While a CURT hitch pin offers sufficient strength to keep your ball mount attached, a CURT hitch lock provides additional security.

CURT hitch locks lock your ball mount into your trailer hitch, deterring theft and preventing anyone from detaching your trailer at the ball mount.

This CURT hitch lock features a barbell design and has a 1/2" pin diameter to fit a 1-1/4" receiver tube size.

CURT barbell hitch locks consist of a pin with two end caps and a round locking mechanism.

They are key-operated and activate with a simple 1/4-turn.

A watertight dust cap is included to keep out the elements and prevent corrosion.

For optimal towing security, using a hitch lock and coupler lock together will secure both the vehicle-side and trailer-side of your towing setup.
