Dometic SeaStar Dual Steering Cable for Back Mount Rack Steering Kit, SSC13524, 24ft.
SeaStar Solutions (formerly Teleflex Marine) has established the standard in the Marine Industry with their Steering Cables by utilizing Superior Design, Technology, and Materials.
All steering cables from SeaStar Solutions exceed ABYC safety standards and meet ISO/IMCI/NMMA certification requirements.
The SSC135xx Twin Steering Cable from SeaStar Solutions is designed with a Rack and Pinion design for fast and easy installation.
The SeaStar Difference: A tightly controlled core to conduit fit offers precise steering.
The outer jacket is made from HDPE, a high-density polyethylene material that is abrasion resistant and has a high resistance to water penetration.
The output ends are made of Stainless Steel to ensure reliability and durability for corrosion resistance.
Made, designed, and assembled in the USA, it replaces most single-station boats with a single non-power-assisted outboard engine (up to V-6) and minimal engine flutter or steering instability.
The Twin Rack Cable fits Helms SH5210P, SH5230P, SH9161P, and SH91630P.
The Twin Rack Cable is included in the SeaStar Complete Twin NFB Rack Steering Kit SS152.
SeaStar Solutions’ SSC135xx Steering Cables are intended for single-station use only.
This steering cable is recommended solely as a replacement for the original system installed by the boat manufacturer.
SeaStar Solutions always suggests No-Feedback (NFB) helms for outboard applications.
NFB Helms lock out steering loads caused by propeller torque, eliminating driver fatigue typically experienced with a standard helm.
Patented SeaStar Solutions’ steering helms serve as a drop-in replacement for the standard Rack System.
Upgrade options to consider include the SSC154xx XTREME Rack & Pinion Cable.
SeaStar products come with a two-year recreational user warranty against manufacturer defects.
SeaStar Steering Cables are tested for environmental suitability in marine applications.
