Its performance advantage over competing mineral and synthetic oils comes from a superior blend of synthetic base oils and Royal Purple's proprietary Synerlec additive technology.
This unique additive technology is proven to make equipment run cooler, smoother, quieter, longer, and more efficiently.
Typically, Synfilm replaces conventional, low film strength R and O (rust and oxidation inhibited) oils that rely solely on viscosity for wear protection.
The Synerlec additive technology forms a tough, slippery synthetic film on all metal surfaces.
This proprietary film improves lubrication by increasing the thickness and toughness of the oil film, both of which help prevent metal-to-metal contact.
It displaces moisture from metal surfaces and protects all metals against rust and corrosion.
