The stock transfer case shifter linkage problem is that it attaches your shifter to the body and is then attached to the transfer case.
It is a poor design from the start.
Here is why.
When a 97-06 Wrangler has a body lift, engine swap, transmission swap, riser motor mounts, or a high clearance belly pan, the transfer case shifter will bind, making it difficult to engage or disengage the transfer case.
This design, Patent Pending, eliminates the attachment point at the body to eliminate discrepancies from stock geometry.
