The heading sensor SteadyCast is a simple solution that is easy to install and offers fast calibration with premium heading accuracy.
It aligns the bow of your boat to its actual orientation, allowing you to know where you are casting according to your chartplotter screen.
Even at low speeds, accurate heading is maintained - with a heading output rate of 10 Hz and an accuracy of plus or minus 3 degrees, your boat heading line and chart orientation will match reality, even when dead in the water or at trolling speeds.
In rough waters, you can also be confident that your heading information will remain accurate.
The installation of the SteadyCast heading sensor is easy with a NMEA 2000 plug-and-play interface and a simple 2-step precision calibration process for compatible Garmin chartplotters.
Basic calibration for Garmin echoMAP™ models and other NMEA 2000 displays is also supported.
Its 9-axis MEMS technology allows for installation in any orientation away from magnetic interference, and it is built to withstand bilge environments.
