The 1970-1974 2nd-gen F-body LS Swap Transmission Crossmember is for T56 (GM 4th-gen F-body/GTO versions only), T56 Magnum, 4L80E/4L85E*, TH400*, and 200R4* transmission installations.
Specifically revised design for T56 (GM 4th-gen F-body/GTO versions only), T56 Magnum, 4L80E/4L85E, TH400, and 200R4 transmission installations.
Easier to install, the revised design features removable feet that can be installed separately.
This crossmember serves as an integral component of the complete Hooker Blackheart LS swap system for this vehicle application.
Its unique design geometry is compatible with Hooker Blackheart 12512HKR and 12613HKR engine mounting brackets only.
Due to design variances in the crossmember mounting hole locations on GM 2nd-gen F-body subframes, the mounting holes in this crossmember may not directly line up with the mounting holes in your subframe.
In such cases, the crossmember will need to be mounted using angle brackets included with this crossmember (requires drilling new holes in the subframe).
*4L80E/4L85E transmission installations require the use of a Hooker Blackheart 71223013HKR adapter bracket; TH400 or 2004R installations require the use of a Hooker Blackheart 12650HKR spacer kit.
Note: this crossmember is not compatible with Tremec TR6060 transmissions.
